About Us

Humble in victory.  Gracious in defeat.  Always together.

Welcome to the Belmont Redwood Shores Youth Softball Association (BRSYSA)!  We're thrilled to have you here and excited to share our story with you.

At BRSYSA, we're committed to promoting the love of softball among young girls in the Belmont and Redwood Shores communities.  Our organization was established with the vision of providing a safe and inclusive environment in which girls can learn, grow, and excel in the sport of softball.

We believe that sports play a vital, positive role in the psychological and emotional development of young girls.  Softball, in particular, fosters teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and self-confidence.  Through our programs, we aim to instill these values in our players and help them build lifelong skills that extend far beyond the softball field.

Our association offers a range of programs tailored to different age groups and skill levels.  Whether your daughter is a beginner or an experienced player, we have a place for her.  Our dedicated coaches and volunteers are passionate about the sport, providing quality instruction and guidance to help each player reach her full potential both on and off the field.

BRSYSA is proud to be part of the vibrant Belmont and Redwood Shores communities.  Our organization actively collaborates with local schools and other youth sports associations to create a strong support network for our players.  We believe in fostering a sense of family and providing opportunities for girls to develop lasting friendships, create memories, and become active participants in their community.

We're grateful for the support of our dedicated parents, sponsors, and volunteers who make our organization possible.  Their contributions and commitment to our mission are invaluable, and we're thankful for their involvement.

Whether your daughter dreams of playing at the highest level or simply wants to have fun and make new friends, the Belmont Redwood Shores Youth Softball Association is the place for her.  We invite you to join our softball family and be a part of an empowering and enriching experience.

Thank you for visiting our website, and we look forward to seeing your daughter on the field!

  • Sense of Belonging:  Understanding our past fosters a sense of belonging and connection between past, current, and future members.  It creates a shared narrative that links generations together, creating a sense of unity and camaraderie.  Knowing that they are part of a rich history helps players, parents, and volunteers feel more invested in the organization and its success.
  • Learning from the Past:  The history of BRSYSA provides valuable lessons and insights that can guide us in the present and future.  By studying the successes, challenges, and milestones of the past, we can learn from both the triumphs and the mistakes.  This knowledge allows us to make informed decisions, implement effective strategies, and continuously improve the experiences we offer to our youth softball players.
  • Inspiration and Motivation:  BRSYSA's history serves as a source of inspiration and motivation for current and future players, coaches, and volunteers.  Learning about the achievements and accomplishments of those who came before us can ignite a passion for the sport, instill a sense of pride, and inspire individuals to strive for greatness.  It reminds us that we're part of a legacy and encourages each of us to leave our own mark on the organization.

  • Giving Back:  When you "age-out" as a player or move on as a coach/volunteer, you remain a member of BRSYSA forever.  Your place in BRSYSA doesn't have to be "history."  The door is always open.  One of the most special, cherished aspects of our organization is how former players and coaches stay in contact, support BRSYSA, and often return to mentor and coach the next generation.  In one capacity or another, there will always be a welcoming and much-appreciated role for you in BRSYSA.

Embrace the importance of our youth softball association's history and be a part of the ongoing legacy.  Together, let's celebrate the past, shape the present, and inspire the future of our organization.
