Picture Day and Hitathon fundraiser

Hello BRSYSA Families,

Due to the wet weather forecast, Picture Day and Hitathon fundraiser moved to Marlin Park in Redwood Shores (500 Cringle Dr, Redwood City). Your picture day and hitathon times are unchanged, we are only changing the venue. Please see below for more details.

We are excited to announce the details for our Picture Day and Hitathon fundraiser on Sunday, March 30th at the Marlin Park!

Picture Day: The league will offer every player a Imagemate of their team and an individual player shot.  You can order additional photos, including buddy photos, from our Picture day webpage. *Please bring your printed form and check to cover additional pictures with you to Picture Day. We ask all players to arrive 15 minutes early given short windows for each team.

The Hitathon is our annual league fundraiser.  The players will participate right after their pictures are taken.  Each player and 2 coaches will take turns hitting the ball as far as they can with three tries each. Distances will be measured and prizes will be given to the girl with the furthest hit on each team and within the division.

You should all have received your Hitathon invitation from 99 Pledges for your personal fundraising site with the email address used to register your player this season.  We ask each family to try to raise $150. These funds help keep our rates down, and provide things such as scholarships, field improvements, new equipment and league clinics. You will be able to email or text this link to family and friends and it will all be done online.  You’ll be able to see how your team compares to other teams.  The team in each division that raises the most funds will be given $100 for an end-of-season party.
